Hi i'm Kate, I'm 24 and have worked in Travel Marketing for the last 2 years.

I am a huge fan of the USA and want to move there from the UK within the next 2 years (visa permitting!!!)

I love mountains, climbing, and adventure holidays aswell as city breaks, and i'm not a beachy holiday person.

I am currently learning sign language and have just bought a Vespa :)

That's me! Feel free to add me to your contacts!

Hi Kate,

Thanks for setting up this site - Ive been looking for something like this to promote my business to people within the industry, and also a place to meet and network with the travel industry.  Is there anywhere I can list my business?

Look forward to hearing from you

Thanks

Ross

Hi, I'm Kath, I am in Western Australia.

I have been in the travel industry for 12 years, and am currently a home-based agent, working with TravelManagers. (www.join.travelmanagers.com.au - Tell 'em I sent you !)

I am a cruise junkie, love doing groups (yes, I am crazy) and have an interest in travellers with disabilities. I really enjoy marketing and promotions, I get a real kick out of putting something together and then seeing the results. Even if something doesn't work, I put that experience forward to the next project.

Being based at home can sometimes be a little isolated, although my fellow TravelManagers are extremely supportive, so forums such as these are invaluable assistance to my business. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE working from home, I can't believe I didn't do this earlier ! The freedom I have to market and target the kind of client that I want, work the hours that I want, and earn fabulous money is just too good to be true!

Just imagine, all you retail kiddies out there, no more tyrekickers wandering in asking for Bali brochures, just killing time while their wives are in the hairdressers ! Word of mouth is where I get most of my business, it is an amazing marketing tool !

G'day. I'm Paul.
I live in Patong Beach, Phuket and with my wife, own and operate a travel agency.
Love meeting and helping people with their needs and easing their concerns. Have met some wonderful people and made some lovely friendships. Thankfully, the more obnoxious tourists are a very small minority.
Looking forward to getting to know some interesting people here and promoting our beautiful island.

Hi

I'm Sue from Bristol in the UK, having a break after my trip to Australia and New Zealand which was great.

I am very rarely standing still even when I am back home, in the UK.  Last weekend I was in Cardiff and this weekend I'll be in the midlands.  Bristol is a great city, plenty going on but its nice to get out at the weekend and see something different.

Looking forward to getting to know you.
